5TH GRADE: THANKSGIVING DAY

In Art class 5th grade we have been learning about "Thanksgiving Day". This is a national holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada,for giving thanks for the best things of the preceding year. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November (this year it was on 28th November). Students have made a turkey with their own hands and then we have sticked all the turkeys into a big one. 3RD GRADE: THE FIVE SENSES

In Science class 3rd grade we have been studying "The five senses". One day, we were playing a game in relation to the sense of Taste. Children were tasting some food items blindfolded and then guessing how they tasted (salty, sweet, bitter, sour and savory). And another day, Alyce brought us an interesting game to review all the senses. It was really funny! Here you can see some pictures of us. Enjoy them!

4TH GRADE: MAKING OUR OWN WORDSEARCH

In Science class 4th grade we are studying the human body systems and, as a way to reinforce vocabulary,  we have made our own wordsearch for our classmates to solve. It has been really funny! Here you can see some pictures of our work.

                                                   

5TH GRADE: THE FIVE KINGDOMS OF LIFE

In Science 5th grade we have done a group work in relation to the five kingdoms of life. The most difficult part of this challenge has been the exposure in front of the class because most of you are not used to speak in public.  However, you have done your best and the result has been a success. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Esta semana, en la clase de Arts and Crafts, hemos estado celebrando Halloween. 

Alice, nuestra profe americana,  nos ha enseñado con una presentación en  Power Point como lo celebran en su país. Después hemos trabajado juntos para decorar el cole, hemos aprendido vocabulario relacionado con esta festividad, nos hemos disfrazado y hemos jugado a "I went to a haunted house and I saw..."(Fui a una casa encantada y vi...) Ha sido una semana muy especial y nos lo hemos pasado genial. Aquí podéis ver algunos de nuestros trabajos.
